After last weekend's jaunt to Worcestershire, today we go and see Greg and Spandy's new gaff in St Albans - and v pleasant it is too. Greggy fires up some amazing meatballs and pasta, Spandy supplies doubly amazing chocolate pudding, (and easter eggs) and we also get to play on a brilliant playground. Suntan, flying foxes and meatballs - what's not to like?
Getting home slightly later than planned, means we have the slightly quicker/easier stage two of our triple fish week, the steamed thai bass.

Despite the shonky picture, it's one of my best yet mainly because I got the fishmonger to descale, fillet and pin-bone it. It means I don't bin half the fish due to my shonky knife skills, and we don't end up with mouthfuls of scales. Why didn't I think of this before?
Food of the Milos
Another Nero-style breakfast of cheese and grapes, a hearty bowl of Greggy's meatballs for lunch (and chocolate cake) and some of Spandy's excellent scrambled eggs on toast for dinner. And a Kinder Egg. All this eating may well have contributed to him jumping two shoe sizes as he's now a 10.
