roast cod on spiced puy lentils

Tonight we get the final leg of our three-staged fish marathon, something we've survived remarkably well. The lentils are always a winner, and tonight the cod gets an element of experimentation.

Usually the fish we get from the supermarket comes sans skin, but the fishmonger just cuts it off the head and descales it. So tonight I try for creating a crispy skin for the first time.

Although I went slightly overboard with the crisping, it certainly bears a second go and even the ana ate all of her skin. The house now stinks of fish though...
