A combination of the continuing salad binge and the fact we're on schedule because I've finally got a chance to watch the new series of
Midsomer Murders. With the clock ticking we go for the lovely
Jill Dupleix's lamb tagliata because it can roast away and then rest whilst I'm trying to work out who killed the old lady who sold the painting.

Incidentally, this week's episode featured two cast members of
Pride & Prejudice (Jane and Mr Collins), Hornblower AND Sharpe - clearly it's the best show on telly.
Food of the MilosShepherd's pie for the monkey tonight, just because we can. It's the food equivalent of Inspector Barnaby; refined, intriguing, Joyce's favourite and popular with millions of people.
